34th Annual Blackheath & Greenwich Amnesty Book Sale
34th annual Blackheath & Greenwich Amnesty book sale
Saturday 21st June 2008
9am until 5pm
Church of the Ascension
Dartmouth Row
Blackheath SE10 8BF
20,000 new and used books at bargain prices. Last year we raised a record-breaking £9,500 for Amnesty International UK. Can we beat our personal best this year?
This sale is dependent entirely on the hard work of a small team of volunteers and generous donations of books. Work starts around about Monday 19th May and continues up until the day of the sale.
If you would like to help with preparing for the sale, or would like to donate books, please leave a comment using the form below.
You can also find us on Upcoming and Facebook. Flyers can be downloaded from flickr.

Thanks Jenny, I've left a message with your housemate.
Books can be dropped off at a garage in Dartmouth Row, just down the road from the Church and opposite the corner with Morden Hill. We will be there on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons from now until 21st June. Approximate times for dropping books off are 7pm - 8:30pm (weekdays) and 2pm - 3:30pm (weekends and Bank Holiday Monday).

In preparing my Will and donating my book collection to you(by the way I've no intention of popping off yet!) can I please know your official address so I can include it. I took lots of books to "the garage" neighbour yesterday.

Hi there - I've got some books for you - where exactly is the garage? I'll happily drop them off.

No problem - found it...

Sandra: thanks for your books!
Maggie: you can donate your books to Amnesty International Blackheath & Greenwich, but I'm afraid we don't have an official address. Our contact address will be whoever is acting as secretary at the time - currently me but the address changes as people move.
